Several days after my last post Michelle, Brad, Addison, and Laney came to visit Amarillo from Oklahoma. Jakob and Addison had so much fun playing together. (Audree and Laney are going to have lots of fun like that in the future)! :) The fun that they had was posing for pictures for us. Laney has such a beautiful smile and set of blue eyes!! Brad and Dominic talked about sports the whole time and Michelle and I just sat back and visited and enjoyed it all, (especially the fact that our kids were playing well together instead of us having to get onto them---right Michelle?). We always enjoy the Sandifer visits whether it's us visiting Yukon, OK where they live or them coming here. Michelle and I have been friends since we were little and share lots of memories! It's always fun to get together with them. Here are some pictures from their visit.

10.28.08-Audree Turns Two Months!
On Oct. 28, Audree turned two months old. I took her to her two month well visit and she weighed in at a hefty 11 lbs. 15 oz. putting her in the 80th percentile for her weight. She was in the 85th percentile for her height at that time too. She may be tall like her brother! The pictures below are the monthly pictures that I took of her in her chair like I did when she turned one month old. I was taking these before going to work that morning. Jakob was supposed to be in the kitchen eating his breakfast, but heard me talking to her over the living room monitor and had to come and check out what we were doing. He can always make her smile! You will just love the pictures of him making her smile. He was just talking to her and she was beaming! It was so precious!
10.30.08-Pumpkin Patch Time!
We took a visit to the pumpkin patch. They had some great photo ops which we took full advantage of, (imagine that)! Jakob was so excited to pick out pumpkins. He had to pick out a little bitty one for Audree to match her. :)

10.31.08-Halloween
We celebrated Audree's first Halloween this year and Jakob's fifth Halloween. It seems like just yesterday that we celebrated Jakob's first when he dressed as Batman.
We had a fun Halloween. Of course it was Audree's first Halloween. She was a fushia colored three-eyed monster and Jakob was Buzz Lightyear. Jakob's Halloween day at school was Crazy Color Day. We both dressed in mismatched clothes and headed to school. After school, we went and picked up Audree from Shelly's and headed home to get ready. Audree didn't like her costume much at first, (as you will see in the pictures). Jakob, however, was very excited to get into his costume! We first went to our church and participated in Trunk or Treat. Long lines of kids went car to car---or trunk to trunk for that matter---and got candy from the car owners, (Audree was along for the ride but did quite well)! Some dressed up and others didn't, but Jakob didn't care. He raked in the candy. Before leaving to go to my mom's house, we watched the Lifestar helicopter take off. It was really neat! We then went to Mom and John's house and they spoiled Jakob with lots of fun candy and a bag of pirate stuff. Then we went to my Grandpa Weldon's house and got lots more candy, then to Dominic's Grandparent's house and got even more goodie bags and candy, (Dominic and I got to eat carmel apples that this stop)! YUM! Enjoy the pictures below of our day with Buzz and our monster. Click on the play button and then advance through the "scrapbook pages" by clicking on the yellow button.
On Saturday, November 8, we went to the Veteran's Day parade with the intentions of seeing my Grandpa's refurbished Navy Jeep. Unfortunatly, he couldn't get it to start, but we still enjoyed the parade. Jakob was the only kid in our area, so he got tons of candy, (like we needed anymore on top of the Halloween candy I already mentioned that we got)! We still had fun. Below are some pictures of Jakob running out for the candy. He thought it was so cool that he had it all to himself.
Dominic and Jakob and Audree and Jakob also trying to stay warm!

Audree was all smiles---after she got a bottle. :)

Here he is getting the candy all to himself--except for the chocolate, (since he doesn't like it). He would automatically get the chocolate and say, "Here mommy it's chocolate so it's for you!" Thanks Jakob...just what I need---to gain 50 lbs. of Halloween and parade chocolate!
